Changeling and Death Demon were a joke.

Candyman needed a small intro and pulled everything except the top scroller, used atleast 10 times.

Well, we were a U.S. importing group so it was never thought, at the time, that our code would be leaving NTSC. Plus, I didn't have access to PAL timing back then. I was ~13 when I wrote this intro and didn't have access to much more at the time.

Death demon; you are right - the colorbars looked messed up here in Europe due to our PAL tv-system. But why not fix it by doing a pal/ntsc check and fetch the timing on colorbars from a table (one table for PAL and another for NTSC)? I know some, like SCG, used to do this in their intros.

Yes DD and Changeling were good programmers. Also, they were cool dudes (beer,women all that). Some of you should pick up "Hardcore" demo by Changeling to see his work.

DD was one of the best intro coders during this time period. Both he and Changeling were amazing. In fact, I got myself into trouble for making one of our intros look a lot like this one. I didn't rip the code, but loved the UI and color choices. Can't believe this stuff is still floating around out there. Cheers!

Ahh, just noticed that you are euro. This was an NTSC intro, not PAL. It would look messed up to you. You guys have different timing than we did here in the United States.

Raster timing was perfect. Designed as such.
