Plutonium Crackers [PC] 01

@Warlord: probably cause his name will give 1000s of results on google and afaik he was never interested in C64 scene/gamer stuff.

I stand corrected Rough, i'll attribute it to my age, ofc it was plain paradroid back then...i sometimes mix up the timeline of certain events from my past ;)
It never occured to me that the Gadaffi mentioned in the scroller wasn't referring to the real Ghadaffi but now that you mention it, it does make sense
Just out of curiosity: why wouldn't Andrew read this ? Last thing i read about him he was working for a insurance company so he might have internet and he might google his name from time to time ^^
|
|
Warlord!
-the Ghadaffi mentioned in the scrolltext is not the Libyan dictator, but a scener from Berlin who picked that nick.
(noname.c64.org/csdb/scener/?id=11045)
-Paradroid'90 is an Amiga game from.. 1990! you played the plainly named Paradroid on your 64.
-Braybrook won't read this.

What intrigues me the most about this intro is the text...even back then in 1987 everyone wanted to
kill Ghadaffi and yet, 24 (!!) years later he's still
alive. This universe is an ironic place to be for sure :)
This intro still sends shivers down my spine, the
electronic bleeping effect playing in the background of
the main theme reminded me of sleepless nights
i spend playing paradroid90 in summer 1986
BRAYBROOK IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOU ARE A
MONSTER FOR NOT GIVING THAT GAME A SAVE
FUNCTION!
cheers to the underground, legends may sleep...
|
|
This intro amazed me a lot, catches the underground computer spirit of the 80s perfectly.
|
|
A great intro from a great group!!!
|
|
A true classic, this one.
|
|

Missing Plutonium cracktro "Oink!"
http://www.c64unlimited.net/games/o/Oink!/Oink!.htm
18 years old!
|
|
Never getting out of style.
I remember a different version of this one in front of "Chameleon". And another cracktro for "Oink".
Have to take a look at my old stuff sometime.

Great cracks we did! ...though not colorblind... :-)
We did name ourself Northern Lights on the AMIGA, that is correct! And the legend continued!
If anyone who reads this, used to swap with me! Please e-mail me! I´m looking for old contacts!
Greetings to all back then from ZZAP OF SCC!

Retirement day.
It's too bad about Danish Gold.
The Danish Gold guys have spend a respectable time in scene.
For me they are old school as this real short intro.
From a time when quality cracks had to be short.
I also remember the SCC cracks.
Watching them made me sure all in SCC where color blind :) Only joking, don't be offended.
All joking aside.
SCC was Northern Lights on amiga? ... cool things worth seeing!

This loop doesn't have to be a rip from a game.
Think they did it in 5 minutes.
|
|
I just discovered this "music" was used by Electro one year later in his "Gunrunner" cracktro.
Does anyone know where it originates from?

A trip down memory lane.
At this time scene was high-class.
But times have changed. :-(
Thank you for your contribution to our good work.
Greetings from your alltime friends.

Haven't seen this for a very long time.
It rulez.
I used to love the spacy music loop.
A 2K Cracktro is a good explanation for short versions.
Will have to search my old stuff, there have to be some different Plutonium Cracking-Intros.
I am so sad about Danish Gold.

Langsyne.
A 2K shortie for short cracks.
Plutonium Crackers 2001 (1982-1987)
They were and they are in Berlin ;)
On Amiga we changed our nick into:
ANTITRAX 2010 (1986-till the end)
Hi ZZAP,
CPU is still alive and kicking.
Actually he got back to Berlin some years ago.
Cheers to all ancients on a black day.
Danish Gold closed down their group after 20 years.
Farewell.
