Non, Lepsi (which stands for "better" in Polish) were quite activ on the C=64 demoscene.
Back in the days it was quite OK to have a cracking division. Also the demo dudes were cracking between demo coding pauses =), just for pure fun and not a competition.

But truly, this logo could have been better....
